I have often wondered why organic clothing is, on average, so much more expensive than non-organic clothing. The founders of Lotus Organics explain some of the reasons for the expense from the perspective of the clothing makers and entrepreneurs. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that as consumers increase their demand for organic clothing, the prices will decrease as the industry is encouraged to innovate growing and production technologies.

C&C California, the maker of totally wearable t-shirts, has launched an organic line.
I love the “Go paperless…” t-shirt. Even without buying the tee, you can still learn from the handwritten tips on the inside of the shirt (where the label would usually go). I’m impressed and totally inspired.
